I recently learned you believe that companies have the right to fire employees based on sexuality.
While I agree that the Bible is very clear when it comes to homosexuality, you’re woefully wrong about what rights a company should have when terminating employees. Even with the assumption that being gay is a choice, what other choices can employees not make without the fear of being fired?
Can my company fire someone for being Christian? It is a choice, after all, and I don’t know that I want my company’s image to be sullied by people who choose to be Christian. What about choosing to be Republican? Can I fire an employee for making that choice? can I fire someone for being charitable? It is a behavioral issue, after all.
I believe you should reconsider your view on this issue, but would love to hear a more-in-depth explanation of your beliefs on this matter.
And to clarify, I don’t believe being gay is a choice, nor do I think the bible has any place in creating legislation for this country. The Bible has demonstrably been mistranslated for centuries, and modern theologians agree that Paul was referring to the practice of pederasty and not homosexuality. You also lack understanding of the Constitution since you believe your religious beliefs can dictate legislation in this country. With those two things in mind, your entire career is evidently a sham— from working at Falls Creek and within the church to working in the capitol. You are responsible for the corruption of the Christian youth of Oklahoma, and now you want to take it one step further and be responsible for oppressing the citizens in your state whose lifestyles you don’t agree with. For this reason I believe you should be removed from office immediately. You should also stop being a giant dick, too.

That’s not to say I’m yet happy with how shits been going and that I’m over certain things I went through and I’m currently going through but, My week started of well for ending on such a fucked up note. I guess you can say if you choose to believe shit can only get better when you are in a fucked up situation it kinda does…or at least that’s what I’m choosing to believe at the moment. I can only hope my week goes by just as well as it went through today. and I’d like to share a quote that was shared with me today. It’s a big help in understanding this quest of happiness and very much relevant to how I’m feeling at the moment.
